Swiss Francs (CHF) Banknotes – Precision, Security & Innovation in Currency

The Swiss Franc (CHF) is the official currency of Switzerland and Liechtenstein, globally admired for its stability, security, and elegant design. Issued by the Swiss National Bank (SNB), Swiss Franc banknotes reflect the country’s values of innovation, diplomacy, and artistic heritage — making CHF not only a currency but also a cultural ambassador.

Swiss banknotes are available in denominations of 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, and 1,000 Francs, with each note in the 9th series (launched between 2016 and 2019) designed around a unifying theme: “The many facets of Switzerland.” Unlike traditional designs featuring prominent individuals, these notes highlight abstract concepts like time, light, water, language, and creativity using cutting-edge graphic elements.

Renowned for being among the most secure banknotes in the world, Swiss Francs incorporate over 18 high-tech security features including ultraviolet ink, microtext, color-changing numbers, security threads, and tactile elements for the visually impaired.

The Swiss Franc is one of the world’s most respected and stable currencies, used widely by investors and financial institutions as a safe-haven asset in times of global volatility.
